Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking 2 reliable Van Drivers to join our client's team based in Horsham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable, full-time position with excellent pay and benefits. Previous experience as a Van driver is needed, however full training will be provided for the role. It could be a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday starting at 07:00 am to 03:00 pm
- Deliver food waste caddies to residential properties
- Collect white goods (e.g., fridges, washing machines, small appliances)
- Drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle and complete daily safety checks
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and use PPE
- Support general operational tasks as required
Requirements
- A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Own transportation to and from work.
- Would need to live within 10 miles of the workplace in Horsham
- Able to lift and move heavy items safely
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Willing to complete job related training
Benefits:
- Pay rate: £13.69 PAYE
