Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our client based in Horley. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for loading and unloading kegs using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as performing manual handling where required.

Key Duties:

  • Tuesday to Saturday early starts
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
  • Using additional mechanical handling equipment as required
  • Completing manual handling tasks when necessary
  • Ensuring loads are secure and handled safely
  • Complying with all Health & Safety and on-site procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Forklift Truck licence (Counterbalance or Reach depending on site requirements)
  • Previous experience loading/unloading vehicles
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly
  • Good understanding of manual handling procedures
  • High attention to safety and accuracy
  • PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
  • Own transport preferred for commuting to the depot
