Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to work from our clients Crawley depot, supporting a number of prestigious and well-established clients across the South of England. This role offers variety, flexibility, and competitive pay, making it ideal for competent and qualified drivers looking for ongoing or flexible work where no two days are the same.

The Role

  • Delivering palletised freight across the South of England
  • General haulage duties
  • Start times between 05:00-06:00 AM
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
  • Safe loading and unloading of goods

About You

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT)
  • Able to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Comfortable ensuring loads are secure at all times
  • PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
  • Own transport required to commute to and from the depot
  • Must comply with all on-site health and safety procedures
