Our client based in Barnstaple is looking for an experienced mobility equipment technician.
As a mobility equipment technician, you must:
- Have experience in servicing, fitting and maintenance of mobility equipment, such as stairlifts, mobility scooters and hoists
- Have a clean driving licence
- Excellent customer service required as you will be entering customers' homes
- Have a professional appearance
Mobility equipment technician responsibilities include:
- Servicing, fitting and repairing mobility equipment; you must have had prior relevant experience in this field
- Driving to customers' homes to repair, service or fit their equipment
- Clear, effective communication with customers regarding their mobility equipment
- Conduct site surveys as required
- Manage duties effectively and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and to a professional standard
The successful candidate can expect:
- Working Monday to Friday, occasional weekends due to emergency call outs
- Contracted 38 hours per week
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Salary starting at £25K per annum, however may increase based on experience
