Mobility Equipment Technician
Full-time, Permanent • £25K per annum • Barnstaple • Start date: Immediately
Our client based in Barnstaple is looking for an experienced mobility equipment technician.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, fitting and repairing mobility equipment, including stairlifts, mobility scooters and hoists
- Driving to customers’ homes to repair, service or fit equipment
- Clear, effective communication with customers regarding their mobility equipment
- Conduct site surveys as required
- Manage duties effectively and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and to a professional standard
Requirements
- Experience in servicing, fitting and maintenance of mobility equipment (stairlifts, mobility scooters, hoists)
- Clean driving licence
- Excellent customer service required as you will be entering customers’ homes
- Professional appearance
What the successful candidate can expect
- Working Monday–Friday, occasional weekends due to emergency call outs
- Contracted 38 hours per week
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Salary starting at £25K per annum, may increase based on experience
