We\'re currently recruiting reliable and hard-working HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C and HGV 7.5 Tonne / LGV Cat C1 drivers to join a dedicated refuse collection team in Exeter.
You\'ll be out on the roads with the refuse crew, driving the bin lorries and supporting with collections. This is a physical role, involving movement of wheelie bins, sacks, and other heavy items, so a good level of fitness is needed.
Experience preferred but not essential.
Requirements:


  • Full HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C or HGV 7.5 Tonne / LGV C1 licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards

  • Maximum of 6 penalty points

  • A positive, reliable attitude and good team spirit


Details:

  • For HGV 7.5 tonne / LGV Cat C1 drivers, the pay rate is £14.36 per hour on PAYE accrued plus £1.73 per hour holiday pay equates to £16.09 per hour on PAYE advanced.

  • For HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C drivers, the pay rate is £15.58 per hour on PAYE accrued plus £1.88 per hour holiday pay equates t0 £17.46 per hour on PAYE advanced.

  • 06:00 am start, job till finish

  • This is an ongoing role for the successful candidate.
