Payroll clerk - full time in Exeter

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual looking for a stable and rewarding career? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic experienced PayrollClerk to join our client growing transport and logistics team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Answering telephone calls and responding to emails professionally.
• Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Processing and filing paperwork accurately.
• Calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
• Assisting with transport and logistics administration.
• Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and general correspondence.
• Managing and organising company records and documents.
• Supporting managers and colleagues with administrative tasks.
• Processing new starters, leavers, and employee changes.
• Ensuring office information is kept accurate and up to date.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
