Driver Hire Exeter is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent LGV Cat C Driver to join their expanding operation based near Clyst St Mary.

Previous dustcart or waste collection experience would be advantageous.

The Role

As an LGV Cat C Driver, you will be responsible for operating a dustcart vehicle while working as part of a dedicated team to deliver an efficient and professional waste collection service.

The position involves the repetitive handling of wheelie bins, many of which can exceed 20kg in weight.

As such, applicants should be comfortable undertaking physically demanding work and possess a good level of fitness.

Requirements

  • Full UK LGV Cat C licence
  • Valid Driver CPC (DQC Card)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Positive and professional attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Maximum of 3 penalty points
  • Due to insurance restrictions, only speeding-related endorsements will be considered
  • Hours of Work
  • Monday to Friday
  • 4:00am start
  • Finish upon completion of daily routes
