We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established transport operation in Exeter for a Customer Service Advisor to support their logistics team during the winter period.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive excellent service while supporting the smooth running of daily transport operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling inbound customer calls and enquiries professionally.
- Providing updates and information regarding deliveries and logistics operations.
- Supporting the coordination of day-to-day transport activities.
- Processing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments to resolve queries.
- Escalating issues when required and helping to find effective solutions.
- Delivering excellent customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
What We're Looking For
Previous customer service or call handling experience.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
Confidence working in a busy office environment.
Good IT skills and experience using computer systems.
Ability to remain calm, organised, and professional under pressure.
Logistics or warehousing experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
