Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting Multi-drop Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Northolt UB5, one of the UK’s biggest suppliers of internal and external prestige doors.
£41,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 7:00 to 16:30 (6:00 - 15:30 may be required)
20 days annual leave (January–December) plus 8 Bank Holidays
Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail are essential for this role, as you will be responsible for managing delivery processes and ensuring all activities meet our clients’ strict standards and procedures. We are looking for a motivated, adaptable, and hardworking individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of the work a great level of physical fitness is required.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and handle high-value doors and associated products with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition (typically 6–8 drops per day)
- Handball deliveries independently (no driver’s mate provided)
- Assist with loading your vehicle and ensure all loads are fully strapped and secure before departure
- Prepare and load your vehicle for the following day (a Forklift licence is advantageous, but not essential)
- Complete accurate delivery paperwork and daily vehicle safety checks
- A valid UK driving licence with Category C entitlement, with no penalty points
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- A minimum of 1 year’s Class 2 experience in heavy delivery work (such as furniture delivery or removals) is essential.
- Proven commercial Cat C driving experience in the UK (references required)
- Professional and presentable appearance at all times
- A high level of physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and moving items of up to 50 kg per delivery
- A motivated, reliable and hardworking attitude is essential for this role
