Class 2 Drivers – Edinburgh Airport (Airside)
Contract: 8 Weeks | £20 per hour | Start ASAP | Full Training Provided
We are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our team based at Edinburgh Airport, working airside to support the delivery of in-flight catering and supplies.
What\\\’s on Offer:
- Pay Rate: £20 per hour
- Shift Pattern: 3 days on, 3 days off
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Day Shifts: Start between 6am – 10am
- Night Shifts: Start between 8pm – 12am
- Contract: 8 weeks (with immediate start available)
- Training: Initial training provided on-shift in Glasgow
The Role:
- Operating Class 2 vehicles airside at Edinburgh Airport, starting from the Broxburn depot, with potential runs to Glasgow for loading before continuing to Edinburgh Airport
- Delivering catering and supplies directly to aircraft
- Supporting with other operational tasks when not driving
- Ensuring safety, compliance, and punctuality in all aspects of the role
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- No CD, DD, DR or IN endorsements
- 5 years of checkable work history – mandatory for airport security clearance
- Ability to work a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern (days or nights)
- Flexibility to assist with non-driving duties when required
- Must be able to start immediately
