Class 2 Driver (Class C) with HIAB - Temp to Perm
Location: Broxburn
Pay Rate: £14.29 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, typically between 7:00am - 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for an experienced Class 2 Driver with HIAB to join their busy operation in Broxburn. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and flexible driver who enjoys customer-facing work and being part of a supportive team.
The Role
As a key member of the transport team, you will be responsible for the delivery of civils and drainage products to customers across Broxburn and the surrounding areas. This is a customer-facing position where professionalism and service are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safe, efficient operation of a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB
- Completing deliveries accurately and on time
- Planning the most efficient routes to meet daily delivery schedules
- Ensuring full compliance with drivers' hours, tachograph rules, and all relevant transport legislation
- Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
- Acting as a professional ambassador for the business at point of delivery, providing outstanding customer service
Candidate Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid HIAB certification (essential)
- Valid CPC and Tacho cards
- 1 year Class 2 driving experience minimum
- Strong knowledge of health & safety in the workplace
- Good understanding of driver legislation, including driving hours rules and regulations
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and support wider operational requirements
Desirable
- FLT (Forklift Truck) experience
