Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established removals company based in North Edinburgh for a reliable and hardworking

Van Driver .

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working as part of a team, and providing excellent customer service.

The Role

  • Driving a company van to residential and commercial removals across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
  • Loading, unloading and safely transporting customers' furniture and belongings.
  • Working alongside a driver's mate and removals team.
  • Providing a friendly and professional service to customers.
  • 7:00am starts with a usual finish around 4:00pm, although shifts can run until approximately 7:00pm depending on the jobs scheduled for the day.

Pay Rates

  • £13.00 per hour PAYE
  • £14.57 per hour PAYE Advanced
  • (includes holiday pay)

Requirements

  • Must be aged 21 or over due to insurance requirements.
  • Must hold a full UK Category B driving licence.
  • Minimum

6 months' experience driving vans .

  • Must have a valid

DBS check completed within the last 12 months . Previous removals or multidrop driving experience is beneficial but not essential.

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting.
  • A reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.
