Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Drivers to support a well-established client operating across Edinburgh City and surrounding areas. This ad hoc role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible work that fits around their availability while earning excellent hourly rates.
Working Pattern
- Ad hoc shifts based on business requirements
- Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work available
- Typical start time: 08:00am
The Role
- Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle with remote grab
- Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
- Delivering materials to commercial and residential sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing required paperwork
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
Pay Rates
- PAYE: £16.20 per hour
- £21.50 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
- PAYE Advanced: £18.16 per hour
- £24.20 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
Weekly pay. Flexible shifts to match your availability.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid HIAB certification - ALLMI C5+E (essential) (AITT or RTITB certification also accepted)
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous HIAB experience preferred
- Reliable, flexible, and safety-focused approach
