Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently seeking experienced Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Drivers for a full-time opportunity with a reputable client operating across Edinburgh and nearby areas. This role is ideal for drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position.

Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday 8:00 am start times
  • Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed
  • Overtime available based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle with remote grab attachment
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety
  • Providing professional and customer-focused service at all times

Pay Rates

  • PAYE – £16.20 per hour
  • £21.50 per hour after 8 hours
  • PAYE Advanced – £18.16 per hour
  • £24.20 per hour after 8 hours

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid HIAB certification – ALLMI C5+E essential (AITT or RTITB certification also accepted)
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous HIAB experience preferred
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
