The Role
- Delivering and collecting plant machinery and equipment across East Lothian and surrounding areas
- Loading, securing and unloading plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurate
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Providing excellent customer service at customer sites
- Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
- Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Early morning starts
- Overtime available
- Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per shift
- What You'll Need
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience transporting plant machinery (essential)
- Experience loading and securing plant equipment
- Good understanding of load restraint regulations
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements)
- A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
