Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently looking for experienced and reliable Furniture Van Drivers to support a range of clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for drivers seeking flexible ad hoc work that can fit around other commitments while offering hands-on, active shifts and regular opportunities.
The Role
- Completing multi-drop furniture deliveries across local and regional routes
- Working alongside a driver's mate or warehouse team to deliver large furniture items
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed professionally and on time
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Flexible ad hoc shifts, mainly Monday to Friday
Pay Rates
- PAYE £13.00 per hour
- £17.32 per hour overtime after 8 hours
- PAYE Advanced £14.57 per hour
- £19.42 per hour overtime after 8 hours
- Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed per shift
- Weekly pay
- Flexible work to suit your availability
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous van driving experience essential
- No major endorsements (DD, IN, CD, DG, DR)
- Good level of physical fitness as heavy lifting is involved
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
