We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Sales Consultant to join our team in Driver Hire Edinburgh (South Gyle). The team will support, mentor and train you to become proficient in the daily running of the business as well as building a successful desk of clients. You will focus on clients in the East Lothian, Midlothian & Borders area so knowledge of these areas would be beneficial. A passion for helping people secure jobs and ensuring our clients have their vacancies filled is key to your success!
Responsibilities
- Generating leads and winning new business through phone calls
- Developing relationships with existing clients
- Arranging and attending client meetings face to face
- Cross-selling a range of services such as driver training
- Data cleansing our in-house system
- Contacting relevant businesses within EH postcode area
- Attending networking events and local job fairs
- Daily and weekly admin tasks to support the recruitment aspect of the role
- Participation in our 24/7 on-call service on a rotation basis
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. As this is a combined recruitment and sales focused role, you will be responsible for your own workload so good organisational and time-management skills are essential as well as excellent customer service skills. Previous experience working within customer service, sales, recruitment or logistics would be advantageous. Full training and support will be provided covering our business, Driver Hires in-house IT system and transport related legislation with a mix of on-the-job shadowing, training modules and our new Sales Academy.
Hours and Pay
Full-time. Office hours Monday to Friday, with flexibility (office based - EH12). Starting salary of £25,000 basic per annum plus uncapped bonus and commission. OTE £30k+ within first year and progressing thereafter to £40k in year 2.
