This is a straightforward, ongoing trunking role with the same route every night, making it ideal for drivers looking for regular work, consistent hours and a predictable routine.

The Role

  • Night trunk from Dunbar to Sunderland
  • Collect an empty trailer from Dunbar
  • Deliver to Sunderland
  • Return to Dunbar with a loaded trailer
  • 8:00pm starts, Monday to Friday
  • No multi-drop deliveries

Pay & Benefits

  • £22.74 per hour PAYE (Holiday pay accrued)
  • £25.48 per hour PAYE Advanced (Holiday pay included in hourly pay rate)

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year

  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • A maximum of 6 penalty points, with no more than 3 points for any single offence
  • No DD, DG, DR, IN or CD endorsements due to insurance requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or over
  • Reliable, professional and punctual
