Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a well-established steel company based in Edinburgh City. Working Patterns
  • Flexible, ad hoc shifts based on business needs

Pay Rates
  • Monday to Friday: £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
  • £16.25 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
  • Overtime (after 8 hours): £19.32 per hour (PAYE)
  • £21.66 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
  • Minimum 8 hours' pay per shift
  • Weekly pay (holiday pay accrued unless PAYE Advanced selected)
The Role
  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle delivering steel products across Edinburgh City
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries with assistance from a driver's mate
  • Supporting loading and unloading, including heavy items
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
  • Providing professional, friendly customer service
Requirements
  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Maximum 9 penalty points (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
