Driver Hire East London is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver. Candidates with Plant Hire experience is desirable but not essential. Plant hire experience entails transporting plant hire equipment and loading onto a beavertail lorry.
Role Details:
- Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (12-week temporary period) or temporary ADHOC work
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Pay Rate (Temp): £16 - £18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay, PAYE)
- Permanent Salary: Competitive salary package
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient delivery of goods
- Perform vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
- CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience is desirable
- Good knowledge of London routes and surrounding areas
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence
