HGV Class 2 Driver – Plant Hire Experience

Driver Hire East London is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver. Candidates with Plant Hire experience is essential. You will be delivering plant equipment and vehicles such as diggers, forklifts and cherry pickers on a beavertail truck.

Role Details

• Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (12-week temporary period)
• Shifts: Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate (Temp): £16 – £18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay, PAYE)
• Permanent Salary: Competitive salary package to be discussed at interview

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient delivery of goods
• Perform vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience is desirable
• Good knowledge of London routes and surrounding areas
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence
