We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious high-value wine distribution company based in East Kilbride, for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Van Driver on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and preparing customer orders with accuracy and care
- Wrapping and palletising stock for dispatch
- Carrying out regular stock checks
Relief Driving Duties:
- When required, you will provide cover for holidays, sickness, and peak periods:
- Driving transit vans to deliver high-value wines
- Deliveries to golf courses, hotels, and residential properties
- Covering routes across Scotland
- Ensuring safe and secure handling of premium products at all times
Requirements:
- Must be 25 years or over (insurance purposes)
- Previous van driving experience is essential
- Valid UK driving licence
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- Flexible and willing to support both warehouse and driving duties
- Would prefer someone who lives local to East Kilbride or has own transport to get there due to location
