Driver Hire is currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Category C) Skip Driver for our client based in Blantyre. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular weekday work, with the potential for a temporary position to become ongoing for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Class 2 Skip Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, exchange, and collection of skips to both domestic and commercial customers. You'll represent our client in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service while following all road safety and transport regulations.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. Overtime may be required depending on business needs.
Pay
£15.00 per hour.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- A valid Driver CPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous skip driving experience is desirable but not essential
- A good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
