Driver Hire Dundee & Perth are currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join our client based in Dundee. This role is based within a busy waste management facility, operating in the waste hall and supporting the wider site team with daily operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and experienced operator looking for 6 weeks work with a well-established company.
The Role
- Operating a loading shovel within a waste hall environment
- Moving and loading waste materials safely and efficiently
- Feeding materials into processing equipment
- Maintaining safe working practices at all times
- Carrying out basic daily machine checks
- Supporting the site team with general operational duties as required
- Working as part of a team in a busy waste management facility
Requirements
- A valid Loading Shovel qualification (such as NPORS, CPCS or equivalent)
- Previous experience operating a loading shovel in an industrial, recycling, or waste environment
- A strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- The ability to work reliably within a busy operational site
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Pay & Benefits
- £19.61 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
- Weekly pay through Driver Hire
