Class 2 Gritter Driver - Forfar
We are currently recruiting Class 2 Gritter Driverto work with our customer in Forfar, carrying out essential winter maintenance across the local area.
The Role
- Driving a Class 2 gritter vehicle
- Completing winter maintenance duties along a pre-determined route
- Ensuring roads are treated safely and efficiently
- Working predominantly during night shifts and in winter weather conditions
- Following route instructions and all relevant health & safety procedures
Pay & Benefits
- £16.81 per hour
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Night shift allowance:
- £24.41 per night - Sunday to Thursday
- £48.81 per night - Friday & Saturday
You will need
- A valid Class 2 (C) licence, CPC and Digi Card
- Relevant commercial driving experience
- A good understanding of road safety
- Reliability and flexibility, particularly around winter weather conditions
- The ability to work independently and follow a set route
This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers looking for regular winter work with enhanced rates and allowances.
