Driver Hire Dundee are currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers to join our client's operation, delivering totes of medication to pharmacies throughout Dundee and the surrounding local area.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial driver looking for regular work with a professional and well-organised operation.
The Role
- Multi-drop deliveries of medication to pharmacies
- Delivering and collecting totes safely and efficiently
- Driving throughout Dundee and the surrounding local area
- Completing delivery paperwork and following agreed procedures
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Working Monday to Saturday, with shifts available across the week
Pay & Hours
- £15.13 per hour
- £17.37 per hour after 8 hours
- £17.37 per hour on Saturdays
- Monday to Saturday shifts available
- Opportunities for regular ongoing work
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A full UK driving licence
- No more than 3 penalty points
- Recent commercial van driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is highly desirable
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- Good geographical knowledge of Dundee and the surrounding area
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to handle totes safely and work to delivery schedules
Previous experience delivering to pharmacies, healthcare settings or similar environments would be advantageous, although full role-specific procedures will be explained.
