Driver Hire Dundee are recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers for an upcoming 8‑12 week pea harvest contract with our established client. We recruit for this contract every year and are looking for reliable and experienced drivers to join the team.

Pay Rates (including holiday pay):

  • Days: £15.69 per hour
  • Nights: £16.81 per hour

This is a great opportunity for Class 2 Drivers looking for seasonal contract work with consistent hours and a regular rota.

Job Details:

  • Position: Class 2 HGV Driver / Tipper Driver
  • Location: Dundee and surrounding areas
  • Contract length: 8‑12 weeks
  • Start date: End of June / Early July
  • Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts
  • Hours: Day shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Night shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am
  • Rota: Ideally 4 days on / 4 days off

Drivers must be available to work a mixture of day and night shifts.

Driver Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
  • Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
  • Previous tipper driving experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and follow health & safety procedures
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to commit to the full contract
