Driver Hire are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join their team. This role involves transporting furniture and materials to building sites across Scotland on behalf of their client.
We support this client all year round for sickness and holiday cover – ideal for drivers looking to pick up adhoc work to boost their income!
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering furniture and building materials safely and on time.
- Heavy lifting is involved – although forklifts are often used, you must be prepared to handball stock when forklifts are unavailable.
- Ensuring loads are secured and delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
What We\’re Looking For:
- A valid Category C on your UK driving licence
- Valid CPC and Tacho card.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- A safe, responsible, and reliable driver.
- Commercial driving experience – ideally in the last year
- Knowledge around Drivers Hours andRegulations
Pay & Hours:
- 08:00 start time
- £15.69 per hour (including holiday pay).
