Overview
Driver Hire Dundee are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to deliver meat to butchers across Scotland. This is a short-term booking covering holiday/sickness, and you will be required to stay overnight in the vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Deliver meat to butchers across Scotland as part of a short-term booking covering holiday/sickness.
- Be prepared to stay overnight in the vehicle.
Requirements
- Category C+E entitlement on your UK driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Commercial driving experience, ideally in a multidrop role
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling (hanging beef; PPE provided)
- Knowledge of Drivers Hours and Regulations
- Be equipped to stay overnight in the vehicle
Pay & Hours
- £16.81 per hour basic (PAYE – inclusive of holiday pay)
- £20.17 per hour overtime after 40 hours (PAYE – inclusive of holiday pay)
- £25 night out allowance
- Monday to Friday (potentially Saturday)
- Weekly pay
