Driver Hire Dumfries is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Factory Operative to join our client's team. As a Factory Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the factory
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the factory floor
- Ensure products meet quality standards
- Support team members with general production tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
Shift Details:
- One week of dayshifts and one week of nightshifts
- Dayshifts - Monday to Thursday 0600-1600
- Friday - 0600-1400
- Hourly Rate of Pay - £14 per hour including holiday pay
- Increase in hourly rate after 12 weeks
- Monthly shift bonus after 12 weeks
