We are currently recruiting for a Janitor based in the heart of Dumfries for our well established client. If you are a hard working, dedicated and reliable individual then this is the job for you!
What you'll be doing:
- General cleaning of floors, toilets, offices, and shared areas
- Emptying bins and keeping waste areas tidy
- Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Spotting and reporting any maintenance issues
- Making sure health & safety standards are followed
What we're looking for:
- Someone reliable who takes pride in their work
- Cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential β we'll show you the ropes
- Happy working independently and managing your own tasks
- Physically able to handle cleaning duties
- Must have an up to date PVG
- Qualified in PAT testing would be an advantage
- Be able to understand Fire and security alarms
- Be able to lock the building up at night and set alarms
Job details and pay:
- Β£25 per hour depending on experience, rate negotiable depending on experience
- 35 hours per week
- Monday and Wednesday 11:00 β 18:30
- Tuesday and Thursday 14:00 β 21:30
- Friday 10:00 β 17:30
- Occasional weekend work
- Friendly, supportive working environment
