Shift Pattern: Full time Monday to Friday

Salary: £16.50ph time and half before 8:30am (if you are open to overtime and working weekends, this is time and half)

About the role:

Driver Hire is currently looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our client on a Temp to Perm basis located in Doncaster. Our client is a well-established and trusted UK business specialising in the supply, distribution, and delivery of construction, utilities, and infrastructure materials across the country.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering goods safely and efficiently across designated routes
  • Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
  • Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
  • Comfortable with manual handling aspects of the role
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with company and legal requirements

What we're looking for:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid CPC and Tacho Card
  • Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to complete the occasional night out (Tramping - approximately once every 3 weeks)
  • Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations
