About the Role
We are currently seeking a Van Driver to start immediately. This is a great opportunity for someone with driving experience who enjoys being on the road and delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections in a safe, timely, and professional manner, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and care for the vehicle and goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating a 3.5T van for deliveries and collections
- Planning routes and ensuring timely deliveries
- Loading/unloading goods, ensuring items are handled with care
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
What we are looking for:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Previous van driving/multi-drop (however, not essential)
- Good knowledge of local and national road networks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Able to handle manual loading/unloading if required
