HGV Class 2 Driver Temp to Perm
Location: Doncaster
Shift Pattern: Full time Monday to Friday
Salary: £16.50ph time and half before 8:30am (if you are open to over time and working weekends, this is time and half)
About the role:
- Driver Hire is currently looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our client on a Temp to Perm basis located in Doncaster.
- Our client is a well-established and trusted UK business specialising in the supply, distribution, and delivery of construction, utilities, and infrastructure materials across the country.
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
- Comfortable with manual handling aspects of the role.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with company and legal requirements.
What we're looking for:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to complete the occasional night out (Tramping - approximately once every 3 weeks).
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
