Driver Hire are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Skip Wagon Driver to join our client in Barnsley. This is a 12-week temp to perm position, offering an exciting opportunity for a professional driver with previous Class 1 Skip Wagon experience to secure a long-term role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection and delivery of skips across various locations
- Operating a skip wagon with chains
- Handling and pulling an extended trailer to carry up to 3 skips
- Completing 2 to 3 drops per day
- Ensuring safe and efficient transportation of skips
- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Class 1 Skip Wagon Driver is essential
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- CPC and Tacho card in date
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
