Overview
Class 2 HGV Driver – Bakery Deliveries. Midnight start – approx. 08:15 finish. £17/hr (holiday accrued) or £19/hr (advanced holidays).
We\’re looking for a reliable, friendly Class 2 driver to join our team delivering fresh bakery products to local shops. You\’ll be part of the night-to-morning run, making sure shelves are stocked so people can grab their fresh rolls and bacon sandwiches in the morning.
Responsibilities
- Start at midnight, finish around 08:15
- 5 days out of 7, including every 2nd or 3rd Sunday
- Approx. every second Saturday, with 2 weekdays off in return
- Around 6 drops per shift
- Using a tail lift and wheeled trolleys for easy unloading
- Returning unsold products and empty trays
- Key holder responsibility for some shops
Pay & progression
- £17/hr (holiday pay accrued) or £19/hr (with advanced holidays)
- After 12 weeks with us, you\’ll move directly onto the client\’s payroll
What we\’re looking for
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Reliable, friendly, and happy to work night shifts
- Comfortable handling keys for the shops
