Location: Newton Abbot, Devon. Easily commutable from Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, South Brent, Kingsbridge and Salcombe.

Salary: £15.34-£24.53 per hour. Other PAYE models are available. Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a Class 1 C+E vehicle safely and professionally
  • Deliver and collect caged goods across the South West and South Wales
  • Complete delivery paperwork and transport documentation accurately
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Follow all transport legislation, health and safety procedures, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service when representing our clients
  • Workday shifts with typical start times from 05:00
  • Available shifts throughout the week, Monday to Sunday

Qualifications

Essential

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 C+E licence
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No DR, DD or IN endorsements
  • Reliable, professional and punctual approach

Desirable

  • Experience delivering caged goods
  • Good geographical knowledge of the South West and South Wales
  • Flexible approach to available shifts
  • Newly qualified Class 1 drivers are welcome to apply
