About The Role:
This is agency-driving work with regular ad hoc shifts available. You will work Monday to Friday with an 08:00 start. The role offers weekly pay and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours paid per shift.
Duties:
- Driving HGV Class 1 C+E or HGV Class 2 Category C vehicles
- Delivering palletised goods across the South West
- Using curtain-sider vehicles
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and transport documentation
- Providing a professional service during deliveries and collections
- Following transport legislation, company procedures and health and safety requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid UK HGV Class 1 C+E licence or HGV Class 2 Category C licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum one year of HGV driving experience
- A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
- Flexibility around agency driving assignments
- Class 1 applicants must be happy to drive Class 2 vehicles when needed.
- Experience with palletised goods, curtain-sider vehicles, tail lifts or ADR would be useful, but is not essential unless required for a specific assignment.
