We are recruiting a Class 2 HIAB Driver with remote hook experience for a permanent, full‑time position at Newton Abbot, Devon. This role offers a competitive salary with significant additional earning potential through on‑call and overtime payments.

Location: Newton Abbot, Devon

Salary:

  • Basic salary: £35,000 per year (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week)
  • On‑call allowance: £90 per week when on the on‑call rota (1 week in every 3)
  • Call‑out pay (Saturday): Minimum 4 hours at time and a half
  • Call‑out pay (Sunday): Minimum 4 hours at double time
  • OTE: £45,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB crane and remote hook
  • Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out pre‑use vehicle and equipment checks
  • Complying with all road transport legislation and site safety requirements
  • Representing our client professionally at all times

Qualifications:

  • Valid Cat C driving licence
  • Current HIAB certificate with remote hook experience
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • No more than 6 points on licence
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
