With shifts available across all seven days, this opportunity is ideal for drivers seeking ongoing work, flexible scheduling, and early starts. Location: Newton Abbot. Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 2 HGV safely and professionally on planned delivery routes
- Deliver wholesale food products to hotels, restaurants, pubs, and hospitality venues
- Complete cage deliveries efficiently and safely
- Work confidently in busy kitchens, service yards, loading bays, and back of house environments
- Carry out vehicle checks and comply with transport legislation
- Complete delivery paperwork and relevant records accurately
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Start shifts from 5:00 am and manage routes effectively
Essential Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 Category C licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- Experience delivering to hospitality, catering, or food service customers
- Ability to complete cage deliveries in restricted or busy environments
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Comfortable with early morning starts
