HGV Class 2 Drivers for Wholesale Food deliveries are required for ad hoc work across South Devon. This role involves delivering wholesale food products to hotels, restaurants, pubs, and hospitality venues across the South West. Shifts are available across all seven days, making this ideal for drivers looking for flexibility and regular ongoing work.
Location: South Devon depot with deliveries across the South West.
Salary: £19.05 per hour PAYE. Paid weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a Class 2 HGV on planned delivery routes across the South West.
- Deliver wholesale food products to hotels, pubs, restaurants, and hospitality venues.
- Complete cage deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Work professionally in busy kitchens, loading bays, and back-of-house environments.
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
- Represent the business in a professional manner at all customer sites.
- Carry out early morning starts from 5am.
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 Cat C licence.
- Valid CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Previous experience delivering wholesale food products to hospitality customers.
- Confident completing cage deliveries in busy and restricted environments.
- Comfortable with early morning starts from 5am.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
