Driver Hire are recruiting reliable Van Drivers for a leading furniture company in the Crayford / Dartford area.
You’ll be delivering sofas, beds, chairs, mattresses and other furniture to customers’ homes.
This is a hands-on role, involving regular lifting, carrying and manoeuvring of heavy and bulky items, so you must be physically fit and comfortable with lifting.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive 3.5t Luton, Sprinter and Transit vans
- Deliver and unload furniture safely
- Lift and manoeuvre bulky/heavy items into customers’ homes
- Complete deliveries efficiently and on time
- Provide professional customer service
- Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous van/delivery driving experience
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
- Safe and responsible driving manner
