Driver Hire is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Trunking Drivers for national trunking assignments with our clients based in Dartford and surrounding areas.
Role Details
- Start Date: Immediate
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work available)
- Location: Working from Dartford RDC, delivering nationwide trunking routes
- Pay: £18 – £25 per hour (varied rates for day, night, weekend) – Minimum 8 hours\’ pay per day
- Nights Out Allowance
Role Overview
- Long-Distance Tramping: Driving LGV1 (C+E) vehicles to and from RDCs, hubs, and depots across the UK – no handball or multi-drop.
- Professional Representation: You\’ll be the face of our client on the road – reliability and good communication are key.
- Overnight Stays: Comfortable overnight stays in modern sleeper cabs; you\’ll be out 2-4 nights per week depending on route.
