HGV Class 1 Trunking Drivers – National Work with Nights Out – Immediate Starts Driver Hire is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Trunking Drivers for national trunking assignments with our clients based in Dartford and surrounding areas. Position Details: Start Date: Immediate Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work available) Location: Working from Dartford RDC, delivering nationwide trunking routes Pay: £20 per hour (PAYE Advanced) – Minimum 8 hours’ pay per day Nights Out: Paid at £35 per night (tax-free allowance) Role Overview: Long-Distance Trunking: Driving LGV1 (C+E) vehicles to and from RDCs, hubs, and depots across the UK – no handball or multi-drop. Professional Representation: You’ll be the face of our client on the road – reliability and good communication are key. Overnight Stays: Comfortable overnight stays in modern sleeper cabs; you’ll be out 2–4 nights per week depending on route. Vehicle Care: Keeping vehicles clean and well-presented at all times. Compliance: Adhering to all road safety and legal regulations.
