Driver Hire Darlington are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to assist our client based in Shildon. A typical day would involve taking the load from Spennymoor up to Scotland or Manchester and returning. There are one to four drops depending on the shift.
As a HGV Class Driver you must have:
- CE Licence/ Class 1 Licence
- CPC Card & Digital Tachograph
- No Major Endorsements on your licence
HGV Driver responsibilities include:
- Vehicle safety checks
- Reporting any defects
- Successfully completing trunks
- Following route plans
The successful HGV Driver can expect:
- £17.40 per hour (paye adv)
- Weekly Pay
- 8 Hours guaranteed every shift
- Referral bonus - introduce a friend to us and earn when they have worked 20 shifts!
