We are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver for ongoing work in Darlington with a well‑established and respected UK logistics company. This role involves delivering furniture as part of a two‑person team, providing a high level of customer service with every delivery. Join a national logistics provider and become part of a friendly, professional team delivering garden furniture directly to customers' homes. This is more than just a driving role - offering consistent work, structured shifts, and the opportunity for long‑term employment.
Shifts & Schedule for a Class 2 Driver
- Monday to Saturday (minimum 3 shifts per week)
- Start times between 1:00am - 5:00am
- A mix of overnight runs and long‑distance work
Key Responsibilities for a Class 2 Driver
- Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers' homes
- Work collaboratively with a driver's mate as part of a 2‑person crew
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well‑organised
- Comply with all company policies and road transport regulations
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
Experience and Qualifications for a Class 2 Driver
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Up‑to‑date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good communication skills and a strong team ethic
- Physically fit and willing to undertake manual handling
- A positive, customer‑focused attitude
