We are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver for ongoing work in Darlington with a well‑established and respected UK logistics company. This role involves delivering furniture as part of a two‑person team, providing a high level of customer service with every delivery. Join a national logistics provider and become part of a friendly, professional team delivering garden furniture directly to customers' homes. This is more than just a driving role - offering consistent work, structured shifts, and the opportunity for long‑term employment.

Shifts & Schedule for a Class 2 Driver

  • Monday to Saturday (minimum 3 shifts per week)
  • Start times between 1:00am - 5:00am
  • A mix of overnight runs and long‑distance work

Key Responsibilities for a Class 2 Driver

  • Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers' homes
  • Work collaboratively with a driver's mate as part of a 2‑person crew
  • Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well‑organised
  • Comply with all company policies and road transport regulations
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner

Experience and Qualifications for a Class 2 Driver

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Up‑to‑date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Good communication skills and a strong team ethic
  • Physically fit and willing to undertake manual handling
  • A positive, customer‑focused attitude
