Driver Hire Darlington are currently recruiting an experienced 7.5 tonne (C1+E) Service Driver to support our client's Welfare Services division on a flexible supply/agency basis in the Darlington area. This role involves working with a range of hire equipment including portable toilets, ADA‑compliant welfare units, and eco welfare facilities, servicing customer sites across the region.
The Role for a 7.5 tonne Service Driver:
- Loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment from customer sites
- Servicing, cleaning, and maintaining portable toilets and welfare units
- Carrying out basic equipment demonstrations for customers when required
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork and compliance checks are completed accurately
- Providing a professional and reliable service at all times
This role may involve early starts, physical work, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Requirements for a 7.5 tonne Service Driver:
- Valid C1+E (7.5T + trailer) driving licence
- Driver CPC (minimum 35 hours completed)
- Previous experience in a multi‑drop or service driving role
- Towing experience is advantageous but not essential
