About the Role
Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for Machine Operators to join their Robot Area team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with machine operating, production, manufacturing, or engineering experience who are looking for a long-term position with a reputable employer. Successful candidates will complete an initial 1-2 week training period on day shifts before moving onto a rotating shift pattern.
Working Hours
- Training Period (1-2 weeks): Monday to Friday Day shifts
- After Training: Rotating weekly shifts:
- 06:00 - 14:00 (06:00 - 12:00 on Fridays)
- 14:00 - 22:00 (12:00 - 18:00 on Fridays)
Duties Include:
- Operating robotic and automated manufacturing machinery
- Loading materials into machines
- Monitoring machine performance and quality standards
- Carrying out basic machine adjustments
- Performing quality inspections on finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Reporting faults or production issues to supervisors
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous machine operating, manufacturing, production, or engineering experience preferred
