7.5t Local Delivery Driver

Location: Crewe

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Working hours: Monday – Saturday Flex, 5 out of 6 days 01:30am start time

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Crewe based business for an experienced 7.5t Local Delivery Driver to support their busy transport operation based in Crewe.

This role involves multi-drop deliveries to local outlets, working to scheduled delivery times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks in line with DVSA standards
• Picking, loading and securing goods correctly for delivery
• Completing local deliveries
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time
• Completing all required paperwork and temperature checks
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any defects or incidents
• Driving in a safe, professional and courteous manner at all times
• Following all company procedures

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Working safely at all times and adhering to site rules
• Reporting hazards, near misses or defects promptly
• Maintaining good housekeeping and hygiene standards
• Using PPE correctly and supporting a safe working environment

Candidate Requirements

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence
• Driver CPC in date
• Experience using a digital tachograph
• Previous multi-drop or similar delivery experience preferred
• Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work
• Strong awareness of road safety and compliance
